ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved solar concentrator plate is provided herein. Such plate is doped with a dye selected from the group consisting of GF ORANGE-RED, FLUOROL 555, [FLUOROL being the trade mark of a compound of the Formula Image OXAZINE-4-perchlorate, [OXAZINE-4 being the trade mark of a compound of the Formula Image LDS 730, [LDS 730 being the trade mark of styryl-1,6,2-(4-(p- dimethylaminophenyl-1,3-butadienyl)-1,3,3-trimethyl-3H-indolium perchloratel, LDS 750, (LDS 750 being the trade mark of styryl- 1,7,2-(4-p-dimethylaminophenyl-1,3-butadienyl)-3-ethyl-(6,7-ben- zo)thiazolium perchlorate), BASF 241, BASF 339, and combinations thereof with each other and/or with GF CLEAR or with 3-phenyl fluoranthene. These solar concentrator plates have high ef- ficiency and stability.
