ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A solar energy collecting apparatus includes a capsule made of a transparent material and a plurality of lenses enclosed in said transparent capsule and adapted to collect sunbeams. A sunbeam collecting means and heat collecting means are located at the focal point of the lens. A photo-conductive cable transmits the sunbeam collected by said sunbeam collecting means to the desired place. A heat transmitting pipe transmits solar heat collected by the heat collecting means to the desired place.
