ABSTRACT A solar energy collector housing capable of being quickly and easily assembled and installed comprises a pan with side and end walls, and an open-bottomed frame supported on the pan, the frame being formed by wall sections having portions depending into the pan, outward extending portions supporting the sections on the pan and carrying flashing reglets by means of which the housing may be flashed to adja- cent housing, inwardly extending ledges supporting a trans- parent cover within the frame, and upwardly opening channels receiving screws holding caps in place over the channels which caps also retain the transparent cover in place on the ledges.
