A solar rechargeable light (10) has a lamp (18) for illuminating a selected area such as the ground or a wall. A base (16) is adapted to support the lamp in a fixed position to illuminate the selected area. An electrical storage device and power supply (26) is electrically coupled to the lamp. A solar panel (32) is electrically coupled to the electrical storage device far charging the storage device when the solar panel is exposed to light, wherein current from the storage device energizes the lamp, and wherein the solar panel is moveable relative to the base so that the orientation of the solar panel is substantially independent of are orientation of the lamp relative to the selected area.

Une base (16) est adaptée pour supporter la lampe dans une position fixe afin d'éclairer la surface sélectionnée. Un dispositif de stockage électrique ainsi qu'une alimentation (26) sont couplés électriquement à ladite lampe. Un panneau solaire (32) est couplé électriquement au dispositif de stockage électrique afin de charger ce dernier lorsque ledit panneau solaire est exposé à la lumière, de sorte que le courant provenant du dispositif de stockage alimente la lampe et de sorte que le panneau solaire est mobile par rapport à la base de manière que l'orientation dudit panneau solaire est indépendante d'une orientation de la lampe par rapport à la surface sélectionnée. @R@
