The invention concerns a soldering iron with a housing for at least one heating device and a soldering iron tip which is releasably attached to housing. The heating device is provided with a heat-conducting contact surface located on the face pointing towards the soldering iron tip. This is faced by a heat-receptive surface of the soldering iron tip. To optimize heat transfer between the contact surface and the heat-receptive surface while retaining ease of fabrication, the contact surface and the heat-receptive surface are situated in parallel planes and are in heat conductive, essentially direct contact with no intervening layer.

L'invention concerne un fer à souder comportant un boîtier abritant au moins un dispositif de chauffage et une panne de fer à souder fixée de façon amovible au boîtier. Le dispositif de chauffage est pourvu, sur une face orientée vers la panne de fer à souder, d'une surface de contact thermoconductrice à laquelle fait face une surface thermoréceptrice de la panne de fer à souder. L'invention vise à simplifier la fabrication dudit fer à souder, tout en optimisant le transfert de chaleur entre la surface de contact et la surface thermoréceptrice. A cet effet, ces deux dernières sont situées dans des plans parallèles et sont en contact thermoconducteur pratiquement direct, sans couche intermédiaire, l'une avec l'autre.
