Disclosed is a method for the brazing of aluminium wherein the addition of solder is no longer necessary. To this effect a flux is used containing 6-50 wt % potassium fluorosilicate and 50-94 wt % potassium fluoroaluminate. The flux can, for example, be applied in the form of an aqueous suspension.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour le brasage d'aluminium, dans lequel l'addition d'un métal d'apport n'est plus nécessaire. On utilise à cet effet un fondant contenant 6 à 50 % en poids de fluorosilicate de potassium et 50 à 94 % en poids de fluoroaluminate de potassium. Ce fondant peut par exemple être appliqué sous la forme d'une suspension aqueuse.
