An anode supported electrochemical device, such as a SOFC, is disclosed. A thin layer of electrolyte (310) is supported on an anode layer comprised of an active anode layer (320) and a bulk anode layer (330). The bulk anode layer includes silicon carbide (340) and/or silicon oxide in an amount between about 0.5 and 10% by weight. A cathode layer on an opposing side of the electrolyte completes the cell. The presence of the silicon carbide (340) and/or silicon oxide in the supporting anode layer (330) has been found to reduce room temperature camber due to thermal expansion coefficient mismatches.
L'invention concerne un dispositif électrochimique à support sur anode, du type pile à combustible à oxyde solide. Une fine couche d'électrolyte (310) est supportée sur une couche anode comprenant une couche anode active (320) et une couche anode massive (330), laquelle comporte du carbure de silicium (340) et/ou de l'oxyde de silicium en quantité comprise entre environ 0,5 et 10 %, en poids. Une couche cathode du côté opposé de l'électrolyte complète la pile. La présence de carbure de silicium (340) et/ou d'oxyde de silicium dans la couche anode support (330) réduit la cambrure à température ambiante due aux défauts d'adaptation du coefficient d'expansion thermique.
