Disclosed is a beadlet comprising (i) a hydrophobic long chain fatty acid or ester material; (ii) a surfactant; and (iii) a therapeutic agent, which in admixture form a solid solution at room temperature. The hydrophobic material preferably has a melting point of about 40 to about 100 °C, and is most preferably glyceryl behenate. The surfactant is preferably a polyglycolyzed glyceride, polyoxyethylene sorbate, ethylene or propylene block copolymer or combinations thereof, and is most preferably polyoxyethylene 20 sorbitan monolaurate.

Cette invention concerne un granule comprenant (i) un ester ou un acide gras à longue chaîne hydrophobe, (ii) un tensioactif et (iii) un agent thérapeutique qui une fois mélangés forment une solution solide à température ambiante. Le matériau hydrophobe se caractérise de préférence par un point de fusion compris entre environ 40 et environ 100 DEG C et il s'agit plus préférablement de béhénate de glycéryle. Le tensioactif est de préférence sélectionné dans le groupe formé par des glycérides polyglycolysés, des sorbates de polyoxyéthylène, des polymères séquencés d'éthylène ou de propylène ou des combinaisons de ces derniers et de préférence il s'agit de monolaurate de sorbitan polyoxyéthylène 20.
