ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A solid-state laser device comprising a resonator body, an irradiating lamp installed in the cavity of the resonator body, and a laser medium also installed in the cavity. The laser medium is excited by the light from the irradiating lamp. The inner wall surface of the cavity is a rough surface for reflecting the light emanating from the irradiating lamp. The maximum height of the rough surface is in excess of 3 µ m.
