A stabilized bio-inert sensor for the determination of an analyte, especially pO2, pCO2 and pH, in a medium which comprises a chemical indicator sensitive to the analyte in association with a stabilizing substrate formed from a polymer which is inert to the medium and analyte and does not affect the sensitivity of the indicator, which polymer is a cross-linked, solid silicone rubber formed from a silicone carbinol having a molecular structure compatible with said indicator.

Détecteur biologiquement inerte stabilisé servant à déterminer une substance à analyser, notamment pO¿2?, pCO¿2? et pH, dans un milieu comportant un indicateur chimique qui réagit à la substance à analyser associé à un substrat stabilisateur fait d'un polymère qui ne réagit ni au milieu ni à la substance à analyser et n'a aucun effet sur la sensibilité de l'indicateur, ledit polymère étant un caoutchouc de silicone solide réticulé formé d'un silicone carbinol dont la structure moléculaire est compatible avec ledit indicateur.
