The present invention is a sound light assembly for reading encoded information on a film utilizing cyan, magnenta and yellow color dyes rather than silver emulsion, that may be used with the existing projection equipment. The invention is characterized by at least one narrow spectrum LED array of a plurality of LED die (12) that produce high intensity illumination with very little infrared energy, a current regulating device (16), compensation resistors (18) for correcting any variations between the individual LED die intensity and an immersion lens (20) for redirecting the wide LED output pattern into a small cone of light. Each LED array has a peak energy that coincides with the maximum density of a corresponding color dye layer.
L'invention porte sur un ensemble lumière et son servant à la lecture d'informations codées sur un film en couleur recourant à des couches de couleur cyan, magenta et jaune, au lieu d'émulsions à l'argent, et compatible avec les équipements de projection existants. L'invention est caractérisée par au moins d'un ensemble de DEL à spectre étroit de la pluralité de pastilles de DEL (12) qui produisent une lumière très intense avec très peu d'énergie infrarouge, un régulateur de courant (16), des résistances de compensation (18) corrigeant les variations d'intensité entre les différentes pastilles de DEL, et un objectif immergé (20) redirigeant la configuration d'émission des DEL en un cône étroit de lumière. Chacun des groupes de DEL présente un pic d'énergie qui coïncide avec la densité maximale d'une couche de colorant de couleur correspondante.
