Chimeric polypeptides containing the N-terminal amino acid sequence of a glycoprotein hormone receptor polypeptide and a membrane anchor polypeptide, with a protease recognition site between the two, are disclosed. Also disclosed are nucleic acids encoding such polypeptides, expression vectors containing such nucleic acids and methods of producing such recombinant chimeric polypeptides, as well as uses thereof. The chimeric polypeptides are particularly useful for the production of soluble glycoprotein hormone receptor polypeptides.
La présente invention a pour objet des polypeptides chimères contenant la séquence d'aminoacide N-terminal d'un polypeptide récepteur d'hormone de glycoprotéine et un polypeptide d'ancrage de membrane, avec, entre les deux, un site de reconnaissance de protéase. L'invention concerne également des acides nucléiques codant ces polypeptides, des vecteurs d'expression contenant ces acides nucléiques et des procédés de fabrication de tels polypeptides chimères de recombinaison, ainsi que leurs utilisations. Les polypeptides chimères sont particulièrement utiles dans la production de polypeptides solubles récepteurs d'hormone de glycoprotéine.
