ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An article for electrical use such as insulative substrates, electrical circuit boards and electrical elements, wholly or partly consisting of an aromatic polyamide-imide having a reduced viscosity of from about 0.3 to 1.5, and a composition comprising 100 parts by weight of said polyamide- imide and about 20 to 200 parts by weight of a polar organic solvent selected from the group consisting of N,N-dimethyl- formamide, N,N-dimethylacetamide, dimethyl sulfoxide, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and hexamethylphosphoramide.
