The present invention relates to the diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease. It especially teaches the production of a soluble Abeta-chaperone complex and wherein the chaperone is a member of the Ppplase family and the advantageous use of such chaperone-Abeta complex, especially in the detection of Abeta in an immunoassay, as well as its use as an immunogen.

L'invention concerne le diagnostic de la maladie d'Alzheimer et notamment la production d'un complexe chaperon-A.beta. soluble, le chaperon étant un élément de la famille Pplase, ainsi que l'utilisation d'un tel complexe, en particulier au niveau de la détection de l'A.beta. dans un immuno-essai, et en tant qu'un immunogène.
