Methods, reagents, kits and systems are disclosed for determining an analyte in a sample suspected of containing the analyte where all reagents are soluble in aqueous solution. One assay method includes treating a sample suspected of contain-ing the analyte under conditions such that if the analyte is present, an activator is brought into reactive configuration with a chemi-luminescent compound to activates it. The sample is also treated with an agent to reduce signal not related to analyte. Finally, the sample is treated with a trigger solution thereby producing light from the activated chemiluminescent compound. No reagents are associated with a surface or other solid phase.
La présente invention concerne des procédés, des réactifs, des kits et des systèmes permettant de doser une substance dans un échantillon soupçonné de contenir la substance à analyser, tous les réactifs étant solubles dans une solution aqueuse. Une méthode de dosage consiste à traiter un échantillon soupçonné de contenir la substance à analyser dans des conditions telles que si la substance à analyser est présente, un activateur est porté en configuration réactive avec un composé chimiluminescent pour l'activer. L'échantillon est également traité avec un agent pour réduire tout signal non lié à la substance à analyser. Enfin, l'échantillon est traité avec une solution de déclenchement, ce qui permet de produire de la lumière à partir du composé chimiluminescent activé. Aucun réactif n'est associé à une surface ou à tout autre phase solide.
