A solvent system for biopolymers in the form of carbohydrates which is based on a molten ionic liquid, with additives being present in the solvent system if appropriate, is described. This solvent system comprises a protic solvent or a mixture of a plurality of protic solvents, and if the protic solvent is water alone, this is present in the solvent system in an amount of more than about 5% by weight. Carbohydrates can be incorporated into the solvent system, in particular in the form of starch, cellulose and derivatives thereof, and the solvent system can then be employed for regenerating the carbohydrates dissolved therein. In addition, a particularly advantageous method of producing the solvent system containing the carbohydrates and for producing regenerated carbohydrates, in particular in the form of regenerated cellulose fibres, is described. The invention accordingly also provides such spinning fibres which are nonfibrillating. The invention offers, in particular, economic advantages over the systems of the prior art.
L'invention concerne une solution pour biopolymères sous forme d'hydrates de carbone à base d'un liquide ionique fondu, ladite solution contenant éventuellement des additifs. Cette solution contient un solvant protique ou un mélange de plusieurs solvants protiques, ledit solvant protique étant présent dans la solution en une quantité supérieure à environ 5 % en poids dans le cas où ledit solvant protique est uniquement de l'eau. La solution peut incorporer des hydrates de carbone, notamment sous forme d'amidon, de cellulose et de leurs dérivés, et est alors utilisée pour la régénération des hydrates de carbone en solution. L'invention concerne également un procédé particulièrement avantageux de fabrication de la solution contenant des hydrates de carbone, ainsi que de fabrication d'hydrates de carbone régénérés, notamment sous forme de fibres de cellulose régénérées. L'invention concerne également lesdites fibres filées, caractérisées en ce qu'elles ne sont pas sous forme de fibrilles. L'invention présente notamment des avantages économiques par rapport aux systèmes connus dans l'état de la technique.
