Process for preparing benzenesulfonate salts from an appropriately substituted acid chloride and a hydroxybenzenesulfonic acid is conducted in the absence of solvent, in a molar excess of acid chloride and in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst selected from quaternary ammonium and quaternary phosphonium salts and the target reaction product. The molar excess of the acid chloride is used to reduce the occurrence of gelation in the product.
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de sels de benzènesulfonate à partir d'un chlorure d'acide substitué de façon appropriée et d'un acide hydroxybenzènesulfonique. Ce procédé est effectué en l'absence de solvant, dans un excédant molaire de chlorure d'acide et en présence d'un catalyseur de transfert de phase sélectionné dans des sels d'ammonium quaternaire et de phosphonium quaternaire et du produit de réaction cible. L'excédant molaire de chlorure d'acide est mis en oeuvre en vue de réduire l'occurrence de gélification dans le produit.
