The invention relates to the emission antennas of Doppler logs and current meters. It consists in distributing the transducers (701) of such an antenna over a circular plane base. The polarities, phases and sequence of feeding these transducers with two distinct frequencies F1 and F2 make it possible to obtain four emission lobes inclined by 30° foreward, aftward, to port and to starboard. Appropriate summation of the reception signals makes it possible to define two fore/aft and port/starboard reception lobes in which the echoes are distinguished through the frequency. It makes it possible to determine the speed of the carrier boat independently of the speed of propagation of sound in the water. Moreover, the emission base is plane is substantially smaller than an ordinary base comprising four groups of inclined transducers.

L'invention concerne les antennes d'émission des lochs Doppler et des courantomètres. Elle consiste à répartir les transducteurs (701) d'une telle antenne sur une base plane circulaire. Les polarités, les phases et la séquence d'alimentation de ces transducteurs avec deux fréquences distinctes F1 et F2 permettent d'obtenir quatre lobes d'émission inclinés de 30 DEG sur l'avant, sur l'arrière, à babord et à tribord. Une sommation adéquate des signaux de réception permet de définir deux lobes de réception avant/arrière et babord/tribord dans lesquels les échos sont distingués par la fréquence. Elle permet de déterminer la vitesse du bâtiment porteur indépendamment de la vitesse de propagation du son dans l'eau. En outre la base d'émission plane est sensiblement plus petite qu'une base ordinaire comprenant quatre groupes de transducteurs inclinés.
