A sootblower frame particularly adapted for long retracting-type sootblowers for cleaning of internal surfaces of large scale combustion devices. The frame, preferably formed from sheet metal stock, incorporates integrally formed surfaces and configuration features which provide for guiding and movement of the sootblower carriage assembly. The side panels of the frame further provide the surface for the mounting of the drive rack by which the carriage is advanced and retracted along the frame.

L'invention concerne une armature de souffleur de suie particulièrement adaptée à des souffleurs de suie allongés de type à rétraction destinés au nettoyage de surfaces intérieures de dispositifs de combustion de grande taille. Cette armature, de préférence formée à partir d'une matière métallique en feuille, comporte des surfaces formées en un seul bloc et présente des caractéristiques de configuration permettant d'obtenir un guidage et un mouvement de l'ensemble chariot de souffleur de suie. Les panneaux latéraux de l'armature permettent en outre d'obtenir une surface destinée au montage du support d'entraînement au moyen duquel le chariot est déplacé vers l'avant et rétracté le long de l'armature.
