The invention concerns a sorting arrangement comprising a plurality of carriers which circulate on a conveying system for the holding, conveying and controllable delivery of the articles to be conveyed. The carriers for the articles to be conveyed are secured on circulating conveying carriages of the conveying system, the conveying carriages being driven by a continuous conveying cable (TS) and circulating in two planes (E1, E2) via a vertically running deflection device (HU) of the conveying system. The useful life of the conveying cable is extended without increasing the length of the sorting arrangement in that the conveying cable (TS) is guided in the region of the vertically running deflection device (HU) via two wheel rims (RK1, RK2), each of which is rotatably mounted on its inner periphery on a plurality of support rollers. Preferably, the two wheel rims (RK1, RK2) interact such that the conveying carriages (TW) guided over the exterior of one of the two wheel rims (RK2) pass through the interior of the other wheel (RK1).

L'invention concerne un dispositif de tri qui comprend plusieurs supports d'envois à acheminer, circulant sur un convoyeur et servant à recevoir, à transporter et à délivrer de manière commandée les envois. Les supports d'envois à acheminer sont fixés sur des chariots transporteur du convoyeur qui circulent. Les chariots transporteurs sont entraînés par un câble transporteur (TS) circulant en continu. Les chariots transporteurs circulent sur deux plans (E1, E2) par l'intermédiaire d'un système de renvoi (HU) se déplaçant vers le haut du convoyeur. Pour prolonger la durée de vie du câble transporteur sans augmenter la longueur hors-tout du dispositif de tri, il est prévu de guider le câble transporteur (TS) dans la zone du système de renvoi (HU) à déplacement en hauteur par l'intermédiaire de deux jantes (RK1, RK2), chacune d'entre elles (RK1, RK2) étant montée rotative, au niveau de sa périphérie, sur plusieurs galets d'appui. Les deux jantes (RK1, RK2) s'interpénètrent de préférence de manière que les chariots transporteurs (TW) guidés à l'extérieur par l'intermédiaire d'une des deux jantes (RK2) traversent l'autre jante (RK1) à l'intérieur.
