The invention relates to a sorting conveyor provided with tilting bowls consisting of trucks (2) coupled to each other and transporting carrying bowls (8) which are tilted in the unloading position thereof by a rotary drive arranged on the truck (2). Said drive is connected by the free lower end thereof to a swinging lever (9) which extends downwards and rotates around a pivot axis arranged on the truck. Said lever carries the bowl (8) by the opposite top end thereof. According to the invention, the rotary drive is fixed to the free lower end of the swinging lever and provided with an electric motor (11) modifying the direction of rotation, and a tooth pinion (12) which is actuated by said motor and provided with an axis of rotation parallel to the pivot axis (7). Said pinion meshes with a rack gear (13) which is fixed to the truck in a perpendicular direction with respect to a displacement direction and equidistantly arranged with respect to the pivot axis (7) of the bearing bowl (8) and whose bend corresponds at least to a maximum angle of the swinging lever which is necessary for tilting the carrying bowl (8) in the unloading position thereof.
L'invention concerne un transporteur de triage à cuves basculantes, composé de chariots (2) couplés les uns aux autres, comportant des cuves porteuses (8) pouvant basculer en position de déchargement sous l'effet d'un entraînement pivotant monté sur le chariot (2). Ledit entraînement est relié, sur son extrémité libre inférieure, à un levier basculant (9) s'étendant vers le bas, pivotant autour d'un axe de pivotement situé sur le chariot, ledit levier portant la cuve (8) de façon centrale sur son extrémité supérieure opposée. Selon l'invention, l'entraînement pivotant est fixé sur l'extrémité libre inférieure du levier basculant et comporte un moteur électrique (11) pouvant changer de sens de rotation, ainsi qu'un pignon denté (12) pouvant être entraîné par ledit moteur, présentant un axe de rotation parallèle à l'axe de pivotement (7). Ledit pignon s'engrène avec une crémaillère (15) fixée sur le chariot, perpendiculairement au sens de déplacement, s'étendant de façon équidistante par rapport à l'axe de pivotement (7) de la cuve porteuse (8), et dont la courbure correspond au moins à l'angle maximal du levier basculant nécessaire au basculement de la cuve porteuse (8) en position de déchargement.
