ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to expanding bellows which comprise corrugations forming an inner tubular part and an outer tubular part. An inner reinforcing ring slid in the corrugation comprises four annular portions joined along two parallel planes equidistant from the axis or the bellows. The reinforcing ring is held in place by a locking ring. The bellows are more particularly applicable to valve bodies in the petrochemical, iron and steel, and nuclear industries.
