A sound-absorbing panel having a front side, into which are worked a plurality of holes to conduct sound to a layer of sound-absorbing material located on the back. On the front side there is a membrane in the form of a cover layer made of wood or a wood-like material, and the above-mentioned holes are micro-perforations in this cover layer. Behind the cover layer there is a load-bearing layer with passages for sound absorption. The cover layer and the load-bearing layer are firmly connected to one another.
