The invention relates to a sound-damping unit (1) for a sprocket (10), comprising a mounting foot (2) for connection to a sprocket (10), an elastic body (3) placed on the mounting foot (2) that is suitable for cushioning a chain (14) running onto a sprocket (10), wherein the elastic body (3) is provided with a protective cap (4) or protective layer. The invention further relates to a sprocket (10) comprising a circular sprocket disc having a number of teeth (12) and tooth gaps (11) in the circumferential direction, wherein the sprocket (10) is equipped with at least one sound-damping unit (1) that is configured to reduce the noise upon a chain (14) running onto said sprocket (10), said sound-damping unit being at least one sound damping unit (1) according to one of Claims 1to7.
L'invention concerne un dispositif d'atténuation du bruit (1) destiné à une roue à chaîne (10). Ce dispositif comprend une base de montage (2) à fixer sur une roue à chaîne (10), ainsi qu'un corps élastique (3) placé sur cette base de montage (2) pour amortir une chaîne (14) s'étendant sur la roue à chaîne (10), ledit corps élastique (3) étant pourvu d'un capot de protection (4) ou d'un revêtement de protection. L'invention concerne également une roue à chaîne (10) comprenant un disque de roue à chaîne circulaire pourvu d'une pluralité de dents (12) et d'entredents (11) dans le sens circonférentiel. Cette roue à chaîne (10) est équipée d'au moins un dispositif d'atténuation du bruit (1) destiné à réduire la formation de bruit lors du passage d'une chaîne (14) sur la roue à chaîne (10), ce ou ces dispositifs d'atténuation du bruit (1) étant conformes aux revendications 1 à 7.
