Description

Claimed and disclosed is a sound emitting liquid dispenser including at least one pump dispenser having contact surfaces and a first end and a base wherein an actuator is disposed within the pump dispenser in order to dispense a liquid, the base of the pump dispenser having at least one protrusion or a male adapter, a hollow pedestal to receive the pump dispenser wherein the circumference of the pedestal is relatively larger than the base of the pump dispenser, the pedestal having a top surface and a bottom surface wherein the top surface having at least one recesses and comes into contact with the pump dispenser contact surfaces and matingly-fitted with the male adapter, a flexible member disposed within said pedestal and is in surrounding relationship with a pressure activated sound emitting device so as to enable the pressure activated sound emitting device to come into contact with the contact surfaces of the pump dispenser, such that when pump dispenser is activated, the flexible member is compressed, whereby the pressure activated sound emitting dispenser is activated and sound is emitted. More particularly, the bottom surface of the pedestal has at least one perforation in order to drain excess fluid and to act as a volume regulator. Specifically, when the speaker of the pressure activated sound emitting device is in line with one of the perforations found on the pedestal, the sound generated is greater than when the speaker of the pressure activated sound emitting device is not in line with the perforations. Additionally, there is a protective casing surrounding the pressure activated sound emitting device to keep any undesirable element be it solid or liquid or air from coming into contact with the device. The pressure activated sound emitting device is further secured to the inner surface of the pedestal in order to ensure that the pressure activated sound emitting device is activated each time the pedestal comes into contact with the pump dispenser. It is further claimed that the sculptured appearance of the pump dispenser corresponds to the sound generated in the pedestal. Thus, for example, if the pump dispenser is in the shape of a cat, then the pressure activated sound emitting device will generate a meowing sound.
