ABSTRACT In the common use of a room or auditorium, when there is a press conference, with many reporter present, there is a number of microphones attached to the speakers podium, lectern, or dais. These microphones are random in view of the speaker or his associates. In this invention, a means is presented whereby the microphones can suitably be placed elsewhere, without loss of sound quality, so that the podium area is no longer obscured by the clutter of microphones. This invention achieves this objective by reproducing the voice or other sounds from the podium, or otherwise form the featured speaker, within an acoustically controlled enclosure which is designed specifically for the many microphones of the new media to fit within. The enclosure may take on various shapes. The enclosure may be specially padded to protect the microphones that are placed within it from damaging themselves or other items or microphones within the enclosure.
