ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a source mixture for the manufacture of cement clinker consists of a calcium orthosilicate ingredient and a carbonate ingredient, the correlation in weight percent being as follows: calcium orthosilicate ingredient 5-59 carbonate ingredient 41-95 The proposed source mixture affords a 50-100°C drop in the roasting temperature, which results in a cut fuel consumption, increased refractory resistance within the clinkering zone, and higher roasting plant use factor. The use of the proposed source mixture makes it possible to employ low-carbonate rocks having an increased content of impuruties, which enables to dispense with the selective mining of deposits and subsequent separation of the rock, to cut the waste, to lower the labour consumption and capital expenses.
