ABSTRACT There is described a space diversity system for multi-direction time division multiplex communication, consisting of a great number of scattered satellite stations and one common central station. The invention permits the central station to be equipped with a baseband switching type space diversity receiving system permitting separate control for each satel- lite station. This makes it possible to introduce MD-TDM systems even in areas where propagation conditions are adverse such as over large expanses of water.
