A hip spacer mold (10) forming a spacer with a spacer stem (204) connected to a spacer head (202) has a stem portion (14) for forming a spacer stem. The hip spacer mold also has a plurality of interchangeable head modules (48, 50) configured for alternatively forming spacer heads of a plurality of different predetermined sizes. The head modules are configured to be disposed adjacent the stem portion.
