The invention relates to a spacing member for a tooth implant, comprising a base portion (1) for attachment to a fixture (22) implanted in the jawbone, and an upper part (9) with an essentially conical limit surface for attachment to a tooth prosthesis. The base portion comprises a through hole (5) for a spacing screw (6) which is intended to engage with an internally threaded bore (23) in the upper portion of the fixture and thereby form a first screw connection for locking the spacing member securely in a defined direction of deflection in relation to the fixture. The upper part (9) comprises a second screw connection for attachment of the tooth prosthesis, which screw connection forms a fixed angle .delta. in relation to the first screw connection. The upper part (14) of the inlet opening (13) for the through hole (5) which is formed in the conical limit surface in the upper part (9) of the spacing member, and through which opening the spacing screw (6) is intended to be introduced during assembly, is offset towards the line of symmetry (1a) of the through hole. In this way the height of the spacer can be kept low, even in those cases where the fixed angle .delta. between the two screw connections is comparatively small, preferably within the range of 15 - 25°.

La partie supérieure (9) comporte un second raccord à vis servant à fixer la prothèse dentaire et formant un angle fixe .delta. avec le premier raccord à vis. La partie supérieure (14) de l'orifice d'entrée (13) du trou traversant (5) formé dans la surface de butée conique de la partie supérieure (9) de l'élément d'écartement, et destiné à recevoir la vis d'écartement (6) introduite lors de l'assemblage, est décalée en direction de l'axe de symétrie (1a) du trou traversant. De ce fait, on peut limiter la hauteur de l'élément d'écartement, même lorsque l'angle fixe .delta. entre les deux raccords à vis est relativement petit, et de préférence compris entre 15~ et 25~.
