ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pair of jaws outwardly facing receiving guide grooves are formed in the head of a spanner main body, and jaw members are slidably received in the guide grooves. A rotating member is mounted in the main body and the jaw members and the rotating member are connected together by means of an interlocking member which simultaneously opens and closes the jaw members in response to a rotation movement of the rotating member.
