ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a spark erosion machining apparatus com- prising an electrode changing mechanism. The apparatus compris- es a tub intended to receive the dielectric liquid and having a front wall which can be opened like a door. A frame displace- able with regard to its height position is fixed at the inner surface of the door-like front wall. Two pairs of levers are pivotally mounted on the frame. The free ends of the levers comprise a transverse beam with a plurality of perpendicularly protruding electrode supporting members. The transverse beams with the electrode supporting members can be pivoted from a rest position where they are near to the front wall of the tub into an operating position where the electrode support members are in an essentially central portion of the tub. The electrode changing mechanism is very well suited for the modification of existing spark erosion machining apparatus.
