A speaker edge which is obtained by mechanically mixing a gas with a thermosetting composition comprising as major components a urethane prepolymer and a latent hardener which is an inactivated solid amine, injecting the mixture into a mold, and then heat-curing it while foaming it to thereby mold it; a method of molding the speaker edge which comprises injecting/applying a foamable thermosetting composition to the female mold of a mold set heated to or below the critical heat-curing temperature of the composition, press- fitting to the female mold the male mold heated to or above the critical heat- curing temperature of the foamable thermosetting composition while foaming the composition, and foaming and curing the composition; and a speaker edge molding apparatus which comprises a device for taking a gas therein, a device for injecting a thermosetting composition into the gas, a device for mechanically mixing the gas with the thermosetting composition to disperse them, a device for forcibly injecting the resultant foamable thermosetting composition into the female mold of a speaker edge mold set, a device for press-fitting the male mold to the female mold, and a device for foaming and curing the foamable thermosetting composition.

L'invention concerne un haut parleur obtenu par un procédé qui consiste: à mélanger mécaniquement un gaz avec une composition thermodurcissable comprenant, comme éléments principaux, un prépolymère d'uréthane et un agent de réticulation latent qui est une amine solide inactivée; à injecter le mélange dans un moule; puis à polymériser à chaud le mélange moussé afin de le mouler. L'invention concerne un procédé de moulage d'une rive de haut parleur, qui consiste à injecter/appliquer une composition thermodurcissable moussante dans le moule femelle d'une carcasse chauffée au maximum à la température critique de polymérisation à chaud de la composition; à ajuster à la presse, dans le moule femelle, le moule mâle chauffé au minimum à la température critique de polymérisation à chaud de la composition thermodurcissable moussée; et à mousser et durcir la composition. L'invention concerne également un appareil de moulage d'une rive de haut parleur qui comprend un dispositif pour injecter du gaz; un dispositif pour injecter une composition thermodurcissable dans le gaz; un dispositif pour mélanger mécaniquement le gaz avec la composition thermodurcissable afin de les disperser; un dispositif pour injecter par pression la composition thermodurcissable moussante obtenue dans le moule femelle d'une carcasse de moulage d'une rive de haut parleur; un dispositif pour ajuster à la presse le moule mâle dans le moule femelle; et un dispositif pour mousser et durcir la composition thermodurcissable moussante.
