ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE It is known to make speciality candles which have incorporated into the candle body, compounds which impart ascent, repel insects or act as deoderizers. Such compounds lower the melting point of the candle wax and thus necessitates special storage and transportation requirements for such candles. Furthermore the included compounds may be release over the entire candle surface shortening the useful shelf life of the product. The present invention seeks to overcome this drawback in the prior art by providing a candle structure comprising: a) a body consisting essentially of candle wax; b) an elongated candlewick in said body; and c) a columnar body within said body in the vicinity of said candlewick and coextending therewith, said columnary body formed of a mixture of candle wax and at least one candle specializing additive.
