ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The present invention is directed to a specialized hose end connector utilized for connecting a hydraulic hose dimensioned according to a first industry standard to a hydraulic port dimensioned according to a second industry standard. As one example meant for illustrative purposes only, the specialized hose end connector can secure a SAE Code 61 dimensioned hydraulic hose to a SAE Code 62 dimensioned hydraulic port. The specialized hose end connector eliminates the need for prior art adaptor plates and requires no extra labor steps or sealing surfaces than normally encountered in standard hose end connectors.
