ABSTRACT This invention provides a specially configured printing plate composite and securement apparatus for a printing plate. The apparatus includes a first flat strip-like portion, a second flat strip-like portion narrower than the first strip-like portion and a third strip-like portion which is also narrower than the first strip-like portion. A first connecting strip-like portion connects one outer edge of the first strip-like portion to an outer edge of the second strip-like portion and a second connecting strip-like portion connects an axially opposed outer edge of the first strip-like portion to an outer edge of the third strip-like portion thereby forming an S-shaped securement apparatus having a flexible sheet-like roll covering member secured to such first flat strip-like portion. The apparatus also has a fourth and fifth strip-like portion and a third connecting strip-like portion. A generally flexible printing plate carrier sheet member is secured to the fourth strip-like portion which carries a printing plate on an upper surface thereof.
