Inventor: Yehezkel Shami Title: SPECIMEN DISH ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A multiple well specimen dish is disclosed primarily for use in cell culture studies. The dish includes a tray and a plurality of individual cells in the form of vessels which can be removably located in the tray. A lid is also provided for the tray and is physi- cally identical therewith. Each vessel has a cover which is received in an opening in the lid when the tray and lid are assembled, so that pressure sensitive tape can then be used to releasably secure the covers to the lid while allowing one or more of the covers to be released when appropriate by peeling back the tape.
