The invention concerns spectacles having a vertical median plane of symmetry and comprising a front optical part (1) and two wire-like branches (3) which are each associated to a lateral zone (8) of the front optical part and have an articulating end shaped like an eyelet (6) inscribed in a vertical plane (P2) secant to a general longitudinal direction (D) of the branch, an articulating element (7) being fixed on an internal surface of the corresponding lateral zone to receive the eyelet (6) pivoting about an axis (A) substantially normal to said internal surface, between an extended position of the branch substantially perpendicular to the front optical part and a folded position of the branch substantially parallel to the front optical part.
