A personal use, low cost, portable speech prompter (10) which is light in weight and small in size. The speech prompter (10) includes a support frame (12, 14) on which is mounted a light box (16) with a horizontal translucent top wall (28). A transparent film (34) with a speech printed thereon is slidably mounted, upside down, on the light box top wall (28). An image of the speech printed on the transparent film (34) is reflected upwardly to a see-through view screen (72) which reflects the speech image rearwardly along a line of sight between a speaker and the see-through view screen (72).

Télésouffleur (10) portatif, bon marché, destiné à un usage personnel, léger et petit, comprenant un cadre support (12, 14) sur lequel on a monté une boîte (16) légère possédant une paroi (28) supérieure horizontale translucide. Un film (34) transparent sur lequel est imprimé un texte, est monté coulissant et à l'envers sur la paroi (28) supérieure de ladite boîte. Une image du texte imprimé sur le film (34) transparent est réfléchie vers le haut en direction d'un écran (72) de vision transparent réfléchissant l'image du texte vers l'arrière le long d'une ligne de vision entre l'orateur et l'écran (72) transparent.
