SPERMICIDALLY LUBRICATED PROPHYLACTICS Abstract A unique and novel spermicidally lubricated prophy- lactic product is prepared by dipping mandrels into a latex bath, withdrawing the mandrels from the bath, and allowing the latex in the mandrels to harden and dry. The latex coating is then rolled off the mandrel to form a generally flattened ring-shape cup where a predetermined amount of spermicidal composition is placed in the exposed portion of the latex sheath within the cup. The latex sheath is then sealed in an airtight container so that an effective amount of the spermi- cidal composition migrates substantially throughout the latex sheath, coating the interior and exterior walls.
