ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A burnishing tool capable of burnishing spherical workpieces, such as a ball for a ball valve, comprising a rotatable spindle, a head on the spindle, a roller cam surface, and rollers associated with the cam surface supported by a cage in a cylindrical formation to act on a spherical surface of a workpiece supported by a rotatable mandrel disposed in a cross axis relation to the spindle. The spherical surface is burnished by the rollers to a perfectly round, finely finished, sized, and work hardened part.
