The invention relates to a spinal osteosynthesis system that includes at least one flexible rod mounted so as to slide freely and to be pivotally guided in a member (12) for connection to a fastening means on a vertebra, such as a pedicle screw (10). The invention can be used for straightening and stabilising the spine while preserving the mobility thereof and without preventing the growth thereof in a child.
