An apparatus comprising vertebral anchoring elements, e.g. a bone screw (1) or a hook (2), with a threaded cylindrical portion (5) and a locking plate (7). A nut (8) may be screwed onto the threaded cylindrical portion (5) to tighten the tightening portion of a slide (4) on a rigid connecting rod (3) with a circular cross-section. The rod (3), the slide (4) and the anchoring element (1, 2) may be sufficiently rigidly connected by means of non-slip projections on the engaged side of the locking plate (7), on the corresponding side of the slide (4), and on the surface thereof which surrounds the rod (3). The stiffness of the apparatus may thus be enhanced, whereby improved support of the vertebrae and easier fitting and adjustment of the apparatus may be achieved.

L'appareil selon l'invention comporte des éléments d'ancrage dans les vertè- bres du type vis osseuse (1) ou crochet (2), comportant une partie cylindrique filetée (5) et un plateau d'arrêt (7). Un écrou (8) peut se visser sur la partie cylindrique file- tée (5) pour serrer une partie de serrage d'un coulisseau (4) engagé sur une tige de so- lidarisation (3) de section circulaire. Pour obtenir une bonne solidarisation de la tige (3), du coulisseau (4) et de l'élément d'ancrage (1,2), des relief antiglissement sont prévus sur la face d'appui du plateau d'appui (7), sur la face correspondante du cou- lisseau (4), et sur la surface du coulisseau entourant la tige (3). On obtient ainsi une meilleure trigidité de l'appareil pour un meilleur maintien des vertèbres, et une plus grande facilité de pose et de réglage.
