A device for converting the rotation of a spindle nut (14) into a force-related linear translation of a threaded spindle (16) at an electromotive valve actuator comprises grooves (28) within the spindle nut (14), into which clamping hooks (30) are inserted. The clamping hooks (30) overlap with their hook ends straining rings (32, 32'), whereat one straining ring (32) abuts a collar (36) at the spindle nut (14) or abuts a stationary abutment (20), respectively, and the other straining ring (32') is biasing a spring (18) between itself and the stationary abutment (20) or the collar (36), respectively (Figure 2).
