ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A spinneret having apparatus for the continuous application of preparation oil on to the nozzle outlet face and the method of such application. The apparatus comprises a detachably mountable, flat distribution member. This member has perforations which correspond to the nozzle openings. Fixing means such as the nozzle casing support face or a support plate having slits press the distribution member onto the nozzle outlet face. The fixing means are provided with a feed opening for supply of the preparation oil to the distribution member.
