A toy consisting of a central spindle, a disc, a lower spindle and a spring attached to the lower spindle. The lower spindle is inserted into the spring, so that a substantial portion of the spring projects downwardly, free of the lower spindle. When the toy is spun, the bottom of the spring acts as the pivot point upon the surface upon which the toy is used. Because of the resilient nature of the spring, bouncing or jumping motion may be imparted to the toy by dropping it from a height.
