Abstract of the Disclosure A spiral attachment is provided for attaching a bowl, such as a bowl for a filter or lubricator, to a housing upon rotating said bowl substantially one revolution to secure the bowl to the housing in the same orientation each time it is attached. The bowl is provided with a male or a female spiral element extending about 360° therearound. The housing has a skirt provided with a mating female or male spiral element engagable with the spiral element on the bowl.
