A plastic blower impeller including an integrally formed plastic hub having three axial slots therein equidistantly located around said hub. A bore in said hub includes transverse ribs for engaging with an annular groove in the driving shaft of an electric motor. A flat surface is formed inside said bore for engaging with the corresponding flat surface on the driving shaft of an electric motor. A resilient expandable split metal sleeve engages the exterior surface of said hub.
