ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pair of first and second coextensive generally semicylindrical nut halves are provided and include exterior surface portions engageable by hand or tools to facilitate turning of the halves, together, as a unitary nut. The nut halves include coextensively threaded inner surfaces and abuttingly and releasably interlocking structure on their adjacent arc ends whereby the nut halves are secured together as a unitary structure for utilization as a threaded coupling nut.
