A splittable conjugate fiber that even in the polishing of precision equipments, such as a hard disc, is free from injuring of polishing object parts and allows precision polishing. The splittable conjugate fiber is one composed of, containing substantially none of titanium dioxide, a polyester component and a polyamide component, characterized in that the cyclic trimer content of the polyester component is less than 1.0%. Preferably, this product is produced under conditions such that the difference between polyester-containing cyclic trimer after melt extrusion and cyclic trimer of polyester pellet as a raw material is less than 0.3%.
L'invention concerne une fibre conjuguée pouvant être divisée laquelle, même lors du nettoyage d'équipements de précision, comme un disque dur, ne provoque pas de détérioration des objets et permet un nettoyage de précision. La fibre conjuguée pouvant être divisée est un composé d'un composant polyester et d'un composant polyamide ne contenant sensiblement aucun dioxyde de titane, caractérisé en ce que la teneur en trimère cyclique du composant polyester est inférieure à 1,0 %. Ce produit est de préférence produit dans des conditions telles que la différence entre le trimère cyclique contenant du polyester après l'extrusion de matière fondue et le trimère cyclique de pastille de polyester comme matière première est inférieure à 0,3 %.
